I pulled the MagicJack device out and looked for a solution to my CD/DVD drive problem. While I was poking around with Tech Support on the phone, I went to 'CONTROL PANEL' and then 'DEVICE MANAGER' and noticed that my CD/DVD ROM had two errors one indicated that my CD Rom was no good, and the other said that TigerJet, the MagicJack USB box, also had a problem.
I thought the unit was defective but it was not. I spent hours with MagicJack's tech support trying to figure the problem out and register my phone. I tried to install MagicJack but I kept having problems with the installation. I have a Toshiba Satellite with a TSST corp CD/DVDW TS-L632D ATA Device and a Vista 32 bit operating system.
